Big Bass Short Stature

The Sirena Short Scale comes stock with two fat AlNiCo 5 single coils. Using all passive electronics, one pickup is placed in the middle, and one is placed by the neck. This pickup configuration is reminiscent of many classic short scale basses, and is perfect for getting a wide variety of versatile bass tones.

The Shorty is built on a robust solid alder chassis. Keeping it old school and keeping it simple is the primary goal of this design. No contours, no tummy cut – just a big slab of solid wood.

All Sirena instruments come stock with hand made custom hardware. For an elegant finishing touch, we kept with the oceanic theme and built this cool sea-shell shaped bridge plate.
